PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh has established a strategic partnership with Jember State Polytechnic, marked by the signing of a cooperation agreement on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at the Senate Meeting Room on the 3rd floor of Building A3, Jember State Polytechnic.
There are three forms of strategic cooperation established, including: 1) Implementation of the Matching Fund Program, 2) Research, Community Service, and Implementation of Internship/Field Work Programs, 3) Education, Research, Community Service, and Resource Development Programs.
The cooperation agreement was signed directly by the Director of PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh, Mr. Christian Suryo Hadmadi, accompanied by the SEVP Business Support, GM RND & Business Development, and the Head of the Department of Plant Pests & Diseases Research. Meanwhile, Jember State Polytechnic was represented by the Director, the Heads of the Polytechnic’s environmental departments, and the Polytechnic’s Domestic Cooperation Team.
Mr. Christian Suryo Hadmadi, Director of PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh, said in his speech that this cooperation is a concrete step to strengthen the synergy between the world of education and industry, with a primary focus on creating innovations that can be implemented in edamame cultivation.“In the future, we hope that this technological innovation can become part of the operational standards for edamame cultivation at PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh while strengthening global market confidence in the quality of Indonesian edamame. Thus, we expect our export volume to continue to increase,” he said.
Mr. Saiful Anwar, Director of the Jember State Polytechnic, said that the signing of this cooperation agreement is one of the implementations of the Matching Fund program initiated by the government in collaboration with the education sector and industry under the matching program.
“The Matching Fund has a philosophy of collaboration between universities and various innovations synergized with industry for the benefit of the rights and obligations of each party. Today is our joint commitment in a concerted effort for the advancement of the nation,” he added.
This was followed by the signing of the cooperation agreement by both parties, the presentation of souvenirs, and finally a group photo.
