    Legal Establishment

    PT. Mitratani Dua Tujuh was legally established in 1994, stemming from the implementation of Japanese soybean or edamame cultivation training, in collaboration between PT Mitratani Terpadu and PT Perkebunan XXVII Persero.

  • 1995

    First Edamame Export

    The company commenced production in 1995, marked by the inaugural export of edamame or Japanese soybeans as the main commercial commodity, which remains the flagship product of PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh.

  • 1997

    Market Development

    In 1997, the company commercially produced and marketed edamame products with a focus on exporting to Japan.

  • 1998

    First Mukimame Export

    In 1998, the company started producing and exporting mukimame or peeled edamame to reduce waste.

  • 2006

    Self-Sustained Seed Multiplication

    In 2006, PT. Mitratani Dua Tujuh ceased importing seeds and began producing self-multiplying edamame and okra seeds. As short-cycle crops with a lifespan of over 70 days, they are highly suitable for crop rotation with tobacco and other mutually beneficial plants.
