Along with the increasing market demand for frozen vegetable products, PT
Mitratani Dua Tujuh is expanding production by developing a partnership program
with farmers in the horseshoe region.
This was marked by a meeting held by the company with the Probolinggo
Community and Village Empowerment Office at the Probolinggo Public Service Mall
on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 in order to socialize the vegetable cultivation
partnership program attended by representatives of regional heads and Directors
of BUMDES in the Probolinggo district area.
This partnership program is a form of synergy between BUMDES and PT
Mitratani Dua Tujuh as a form of effort in the welfare of farmers through a
certain selling price where the company also acts as an off taker.
The meeting began with remarks by the Director Mr. Tumbas Ginting who
conveyed a brief overview and business flow of the company and hopes to jointly
be part of the welfare of farmers in supporting food security programs.
“We as a subsidiary of BUMN PTPN I (Supporting Co), have an obligation to
mutually benefit the surrounding and stakeholders, therefore we come to offer a
partnership program that can certainly prosper farmers through price certainty
and production that we will definitely buy” he said.
The Probolinggo Community and Village Empowerment Office, represented by the
secretary of the office, enthusiastically welcomed the PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh
partnership program with the hope that the cooperation that will run will
continue to be sustainable so that it can improve the economy of farmers and
village indexes.
The activity continued with the presentation of partnership material delivered by the Team who conveyed how the program and the advantages of the partnership. Positive responses were also shown by the audience who had attended by immediately delivering the material to farmers in their respective areas.
