Qualifications:
- Minimum education level: Bachelor’s degree in Agrotechnology, Agronomy, Plant Protection, Soil Science, or other relevant subjects
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in field research or agronomy (experience in horticulture or legumes is an advantage)
- Recent graduates with relevant internship or research experience are welcome to apply
- Ability to read, analyse and understand scientific/international literature in English
- Understanding of the life cycle of plants and their cultivation techniques.
- Identify pests and diseases of plants and their control methods
- Being able to process statistical data (SPSS or at least advanced Microsoft Excel)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Design and conduct research activities, including trials, treatments, observations, data collection, and the preparation of research reports
- Monitoring HPT, plant growth, development and productivity as a basis for correlative analysis
- Responding quickly to HPT reports through on-site visits, providing recommendations and supporting problem resolution if necessary
- Conduct monitoring and analysis of HPT attacks, including pre-harvest analysis, and report the results as an early warning to the relevant division.
- Conducting regular updates and evaluations of Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) for export destinations, compiling monthly summaries and distributing information to relevant divisions
- Running the administration of the R&D department and other departments in an orderly manner, including data collection, document management, accountability, and document circulation in accordance with company procedures
- Perform other tasks as required to support the smooth running of the company’s operations
