PTPN I Regional 1 working visit
PTPN I Regional 1 is ready to support the business development of PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh by providing 500 ha of production land in the North Sumatra region. This commitment was conveyed by Didiek Prasetyo as Region Head of PTPN I Regional 1 during his working visit to PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh on September 02 – 03, 2024 in Jember Regency.
This working visit is a follow-up to the pilot project for edamame cultivation in the North Sumatra region by PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh in collaboration with PTPN I Regional 1. For 2 full days the Board of Region Management of PTPN I Regional 1 saw firsthand the business processes of PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh starting from cultivation activities on land, product processing at the factory, to the process of seeding and developing goat farming in Bondowoso.
The BRM PPTN I Regional 1 officials who accompanied included SEVP Business Support, Head of Procurement and IT concurrently Head of Secretariat and Management Systems, Head of Crops and Processing Technology, Hevetia Manager and Personal Asisstant Regional Head. Meanwhile, PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh was represented by SEVP, General Manager, and relevant division heads.
On this occasion, the Director of PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh, Mr. Tumbas Ginting also had the opportunity to present the business prospects of frozen vegetables both in the international and domestic markets which are getting higher so that support from potential investors is needed to develop the business of PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh.
The Region Head of PTPN I Regional 1 enthusiastically welcomed the business development plan of PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh. He said that PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh is an extraordinary horticultural company, both in terms of performance, market opportunities, business processes, and the company’s long-term plans.
In addition, also present during the visit was the commissioner of PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh, Mr. Mahendra Utama who said that this collaboration would be a milestone for PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh to develop with PTPN 1 Regional 1 and the ideals to be able to jointly develop and grow and then have a positive impact on employee welfare can be realized.
