PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh participated in the 2023 Indonesia Expo & Conference Food Security event which was held at JIEXPO Kemayoran Jakarta on Thursday – Sunday August 10-13 2023.
The event with the theme “Towards Food Self-sufficiency for National Independence” was opened directly by the Coordinating Minister for the Economy of Indonesia, Dr. (H.C.) Ir. Airlangga Hartarto, M.B.A., M.M.T., IPU and was attended by the Chairperson of the Indonesian Organic Agriculture Society (Maporina) Mr. Subandriyo and several representatives from India, Saudi Arabia and Germany.
PT Mitratani Dua Seven, represented by Mrs. Kartika Anggraeni as the head of the export marketing division, received direct appreciation from the Coordinating Minister for the Economy of Indonesia. He is proud of his edamame product which is a consumption product that can be exported with the main destination country being Japan.
“Indonesia is capable of continuing to develop edamame products and it is hoped that PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh can continue to grow and become a sustainable business.” he said.
In this event PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh also had the opportunity to open a booth to promote its superior products so that they would be more widely known by the public.
“It’s delicious, healthy and practical, because ready-to-eat, which is usually frozen, you have to cook it first, we can eat it right away” is one of the testimonies given by an edamame buyer at the PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh stand.
Through participation in the Indonesia Expo & Conference 2023 Food Security exhibition, PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh contributes to optimizing the potential of agro-industry in Indonesia in order to achieve national food security.
