PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh expanded its partnership program with farmers through a synergy with the Ansor Youth Movement of Probolinggo City marked by the socialization of food security patriots held on Friday, 23 May 2025.
The activity which took place at the KODIM 0820 Probolinggo Hall was attended by 110 people who were a combination of farmers, Ansor members, Vice Chairman of PC Ansor Probolinggo City, Chairman of PC GP Ansor, Commander of Kodim 0820 Probolinggo l, and PW GP Ansor East Java. PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh was represented by GM RND & Business Development, Head of Partnership Area, and Partnership Manager.
The partnership program with farmers is a flagship program of PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh which collaborates with farmers to cultivate edamame and okra commodities produced by the company where the company will act as an off taker by buying all farmers’ crops at a fixed price so that it is expected to improve the welfare of farmers.
Through synergy with GP Ansor Probolinggo, it is expected that the partnership program with farmers can grow rapidly to support the food security program.
The edamame was chosen because it is PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh’s flagship export commodity so that it has a guaranteed market and a more favorable price for farmers.
