PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh continues to develop partnership programs with farmers through strategic cooperation with the government in the Besuki Karesidenan area. This was marked by an audience with the Regent of Situbondo and 4 Village Heads in the Situbondo Regency area which was held on Monday, June 23, 2025 at the Situbondo Hall.
The visit was held in order to establish friendship as well as explore opportunities for cooperation with the Situbondo Regency Government in order to improve the welfare of farmers in the Situbondo Regency area through the edamame and okra cultivation partnership program.
The Regent of Situbondo, Mr. Yusuf Rio Wahyu Prayogo enthusiastically welcomed the arrival of the Management of PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh which was attended directly by Mr. Tumbas Ginting as Director of PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh along with GM RND & Business Development and the Partnership Team and expressed his support for partnership programs that can improve the welfare of farmers through alternative new commodities such as edamame and okra.
“We will fully support the partnership program delivered, because the majority of farmers mostly plant melon and watermelon commodities. With edamame and okra commodities, it can be used as an alternative new commodity for farmers because of the price certainty in the contract and later we will also cooperate with the Red and White Cooperative,” said the Regent of Probolinggo.
