Program CSR khitanan masal
PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh held a mass circumcision activity as the company’s CSR program in collaboration with Kaliwates Jember General Hospital which was held on Thursday, June 27, 2024 in the PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh office yard.
A total of 29 participants attended the PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh mass circumcision event consisting of residents from the neighborhood around the company as well as children of seasonal factory employees who were accompanied by parents / guardians of each child with an age range ranging from 4.5 – 12 years.
The mass circumcision activity was held as one of a series of events in order to welcome the 29th Anniversary of PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh which is celebrated every July 27.
The activity began with the reading of the holy Quran verses followed by remarks from the Director of PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh, Mr. Tumbas Ginting, who said that the circumcision process is a series of life’s journey towards adulthood which is beneficial for health.
“PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh as one part of the SOEs has a commitment to provide benefits to company residents and employees. Through this mass circumcision activity, it is hoped that PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh can be remembered as a place that is one of a series of life processes towards adulthood,” he said.
The event then continued with the provision of gifts for circumcision participants containing a set of Muslim clothes and pocket money for participants. In addition, games with door prizes were also held to encourage and entertain the participants.
Mr. Azib, one of the guardians of a participant named Muhammad Alif, expressed his gratitude for the mass circumcision held by PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh.
“Thank you very much to PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh because I am greatly helped, especially because this event coincides with school holidays. Hopefully PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh will be more advanced and successful,” he said.
