Kegiatan Donor Darah PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh

PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh was honored to meet with a member of Commission VI of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia – Mr. H. M. Nasim Khan on Thursday (3/4) at his residence in Bondowoso. The Director of PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh, Mr. Tumbas Ginting, accompanied by several management representatives, was in attendance.

The meeting took place very warmly coinciding with the moment of Eid al-Fitr. It began with a brief explanation of the profile of PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh as a subsidiary of state-owned PTPN I to opportunities for cooperation and development of the agricultural sector in Indonesia.

“He (Mr. Nasim Khan) is ready to support PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh to develop partnership programs with farmers in the Banyuwangi, Situbondo and Bondowoso regions which are his representative areas in East Java III.” Mr. Tumbas Ginting said after the meeting.

The partnership program with farmers is a superior program from PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh where the company collaborates with farmers to cultivate agricultural commodities such as edamame and okra and is assisted intensively so that the harvest is bought entirely by the company at a fixed price and then exported to various countries, especially Japan.

Director of PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh, Mr. Tumbas Ginting said that Mr. Nasim Khan is very interested in the partnership program with farmers owned by PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh considering the benefits obtained by farmers can improve their welfare.

“He is ready to support the socialization of the partnership program in the Situbondo, Bondowoso and Banyuwangi regions in collaboration with his non-profit organization, Nasim Khan Indonesia.” Mr. Tumbas Ginting said.

The commitment to advance the agricultural sector in Indonesia was also conveyed by Mr. Tumbas Ginting where PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh has invested Rp 31 billion to procure new factory machines, especially IQF (Individual Quick Frozen) machines to increase factory production capacity considering the increasing demand for frozen vegetables from buyers, especially Japan.
