Ceremonial handover The okra cultivation partnership program initiated by PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh in 2024 turned out to be a new prima donna for farmers, especially in the Lumajang Regency area. As a form of appreciation and for the rapid development of the okra partnership in Lumajang, the management of PT Mitratani Dua Tujuh held a ceremonial handover of partnership program facilities by inviting 100 partner farmers and prospective partner farmers.
Located at the house of Mr. H. Niriyanto as one of the partner farmers in the Tekung area, Lumajang, the event was also attended by the Lumajang District Food Security and Agriculture Office represented by Mr. Hendra as Head of the Horticulture Division, Head of Tekung Sub-District Mr. Sarjito Wibowo, Head of Mangunsari Village Mr. Muhammad Salim, BPP Coordinator of Tekung Sub-District, and Karang Makmur farmer group management.

“Mitratani’s dream is to be able to prosper the farmers by providing market guarantees for the agricultural products they have produced. So that from our export sales, we can help the community’s economy through a certain income. Currently, we continue to tour the horseshoe region to socialize this useful program,” he said.
Similarly, Mr. Hendra, a representative from the Lumajang Food Security and Agriculture Office, stated that the okra crop is easy to maintain and farmers can earn weekly income from the sale of okra under this partnership program.
