Qualifications :
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Agrotechnology, Agronomy, Plant Protection, Soil Science, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in field research or agronomy (experience with horticultural crops or legumes is a plus).
- Recent graduates with relevant internship or research experience are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to read, analyze, and understand scientific journals/international literature in English.
- Understanding of plant life cycles and cultivation techniques.
- Ability to identify plant pests and diseases along with their control methods.
- Ability to perform statistical data analysis (SPSS or at least advanced-level Microsoft Excel)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and conduct research activities, including experiments, treatments, observations, data collection, and the preparation of research reports.
- Monitor plant pests and diseases (HPT), plant growth, development, and productivity for correlative analysis.
- Follow up on pest attack reports through rapid response, field visits, providing recommendations, and assisting with problem resolution as needed.
- Conduct monitoring and analysis of pest attacks, including pre-harvest analysis, and communicate results as early warnings to the relevant Division.
- Conduct regular updates and evaluations of the Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) of export destination countries, prepare monthly reports, and distribute the information to the relevant divisions.
- Manage R&D and departmental administration in an orderly manner, including data collection, document management, accountability, and document circulation in accordance with company procedures.
